It's been a while since I have been able to post, but If you do not follow me on Twitter @alandste do so! Micro blogging is sometimes easier to keep up with :)
Well Kindergarten students just finished their Native American Blankets. We talked about geometric shapes and the Native Americans.
First grade just finished a fantastic project where they explored shapes and positive/negative space. We had a messy blast!
Second grade students had to put their stitching projects on hold because 20 or so of my plastic needs grew legs and walked away. On a side note, if you have some visiting your home, please remind them their home is the art room :) Until my order for more comes in we are working on color wheels and understanding the purpose by creating out own color wheel flowers.
Third and Fourth grade are finishing up their projects for Zoo Atlanta, so sign and return those permission forms by March 11th for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Fifth grade students just finished their Fashion Design projects and are moving into self portraits, printmaking and wire sculptures.
Wheh! Alot going on! Keep posted! See below for some quick photos!
